Pilot production

The aim of the pilot project was to transfer the excellent laboratory results into a continuous operating strip process and prove the technical feasibility of our solar cell concept.

The aim of the pilot project was to transfer the excellent laboratory results to a continuously operating strip process and to prove the technical feasibility of our solar cell concept. Solar cells with over 10 % efficiency were produced for the first time in the pilot line in May 2011, which allowed us to demonstrate the technical feasibility of our concept.
